美国时间2022年03月31日，DLC发布Technical Requirements for LED-based Horticultural Lighting V3.0 草稿第一版，V3.0标准的预估生效日期为2023年1月2日；同时引入了植物灯抽检政策 Surveillance Testing Policy草稿第一版，植物灯抽检政策的预估生效日期为2023年10月1日。V3.0作为对植物灯技术要求的一个主要修订，该草稿版有如下四个方面的更新：
更新一：Increased efficacy threshold: (光效要求提高)
光效增加到PPE≥ 2.30 μmol /J，但-5%的光效公差不变。
更新二：application information requirements: (产品申请信息要求)
以下产品申请信息需上报，且必须在产品的规格书说明清楚。
